It is important to us that together we come up with the services to best meet your needs. We do not try to “package” these services, as we feel it can be too limiting in what we can do for you. Instead we like to present you with all options, and you can tell us what we can assist in doing.
Our services can be mixed and matched however you want. You can select assistance in all the services listed below, or opt to receive help and recommendations on only a portion of these services. Wedding Day Management can be included in any of the combinations of services requested. Please select from the following list; for full planning services we will include all of the following:
- Ceremony location and coordination
- Reception site search and breakdown of what is included at the venue. We will visit all reception sites with you to help understand what options they are presenting you with
- Overall design of wedding
- Budget - most importantly staying within this budget
- Minister/Justice of the Peace search
- Catering selection
- Rentals – linens, tent, chairs
- Music – search for band or DJ
- Photographer/Videographer selection
- Florist – selection of florist and assistance with what flowers will be used
- Cake – bakery and design
- Attire – locating bridal shop, as well as tux shop or men’s clothing store
- Invitations – save the date and wedding invitations
- Hair, nails, makeup salon or specialist selection
- Gift registries
- Etiquette
Wedding Day Management – Some couples want the experience of planning their own wedding. But when the big day arrives, you want to enjoy every minute of it, and not be worried about what time the vendors are delivering items, or making sure your champagne glasses are returned to you. With wedding day management you do the planning, and we do the work. We have a preliminary meeting to discuss what you have planned, and what you envision for the day. Two weeks prior to the event we take over. We contact all your vendors to finalize details and make sure all contracted items or services are being met. We also create a detailed schedule of how the day will roll out. We attend your dress rehearsal to help coordinate how the processional/recessional will be done, as well as when to queue music. On your wedding day, we are with you from the moment you get up, until the last piece is cleaned. Throughout the day we:
- Ensure all events are in motion and on time
- Deliver breakfast to the wedding party
- Ensure all vendor deliveries are made on time
- Set up ceremony and reception site – we will put out flowers, centerpieces, favors, cake cutting knife, champagne glasses, guest book, and any other special items for display
- Assist wedding party in timing of the processional/recessional
- Queue music
- Direct guests from ceremony to reception
- Assist photographer in getting all formal shots
- Ensure guests have an easy time getting to their seats
- Work with kitchen staff to make sure the food is out at desired time
- Gather key individuals for their part in the wedding – toasts, blessings, first dance, father/daughter dance, mother/son dance, cake cutting, bouquet toss, special pictures
- Deliver gifts to a safe and secure location
- Clean up
